Karen Lynn Bohle

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024 Karen Lynne Bohle passed away.  She is the loving mother of Bryce and Brooke Bohle and the devoted daughter of Yvonne Maunes (nee Gilner) and the late Albert Maunes.  Karen is also survived by her siblings Sandy Myers (Keith) and Jeff Maunes; her aunts Elaine Gilner and Millie Staniewitz; her nieces and nephews Lauren Myers (Kasey Haggerty), Scott Myers, Kelly Maunes and Kara Maunes; many other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly and were supportive to her during her terrible illness.  They include, Maryann, Lydia, Lisa, Nancy, Erin, Sheri, Kathy, Donna and her cat Lucy.

 Karen worked for the State of Maryland, Department of Transportation for more than 30 years and retired in 2022 from her position of Director of FMIS for MDOT.

Karen received her Masters Degree in 2019 from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Karen loved to spend time with family and friends, cheering for the Ravens and Orioles and watching her favorite soap operas, Days of our Lives and General Hospital.

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clare Church, 718 Myrth Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221
