Kathryn "Kitty" Burgess Seeley

On November 17, 2023 Kathryn Burgess Seeley passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Jack Seeley; devoted mother of Rachel Jones, Raymond Jones, and Edward Jones and his partner Taylor Hawes; loving "Nana" of Audrey, Nathaniel, Kitty, Bryan, Sabina, Savannah and Novella; cherished daughter of Wayne and Rosella Burgess; sister of Shirley Wright and Joyce Boch. Also survived by nephews Justin, Bradley, and Connor; niece Addison, and many other friends and family members.

Kathryn, also known as Kitty or Grace, graduated from Eastern Technical High School in 1977 and began her career in the printing industry. Her hobbies included photography, gardening, and quilting. She also enjoyed sharing her home with many pets including dogs, cats, and most recently tropical fish and parakeets. But her biggest joy was having an active role in raising her grandchildren whose ages range from 17 to 2 years old. They will remember her constant love and epic Easter egg hunts.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave. Saturday, December 9 at 3pm with the family receiving friends beginning at 2pm.

Interment private.
