Laura Ann (Valencia) Thrasher

On January 11, 2026 Laura Ann Thrasher (nee Valencia) passed away; devoted mother of Michael Thrasher Jr.; beloved daughter Sam Valencia Jr. and the late Josephine Abt; dear sister of Dawn Genovese and her husband Anthony, and Sammy Valencia III; loving aunt of Colin, Olivia and her husband Matt, Sammy IV, and Emma; cherished great-aunt of Tate and Bodey. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 at 8 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 from 3 - 5, and 7 - 9 pm.
