Laurence "Larry" "Pop" Edward Smith, Jr.

On August 21, 2024 Laurence  "Larry" "Pop" Edward Smith, Jr passed away; devoted husband of the late Phyllis J. Smith (nee Killian); beloved father of Larry E. Smith III and his wife Carole, Kevin Smith and his wife Kelly, and the late Marcia Chavis and her late husband Larry; loving "Pop" of Tim, Willie, Jason, Steven, Christopher, Kyle and Mark; cherished great-grandfather of Ryan, Jeremy, Lucas, Evan, AJ, MJ, Jadon, Ava, Alyssa, Peyton, Katelyn, Kali, Kensley and Hailee; loving great-great-grandfather of  Levi; dear brother of Jim Smith and Ginny Soth. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday, August 26th, 2024 at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2024 from 11 am - 1 pm.

Interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
