Lawrence B. Sappington

Lawrence B. Sappington, affectionately known as Larry, age 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 6, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1957 to the late Wilson and Helen Sappington. Larry is the beloved husband of 27 years to Debbie Sappington (nee Hoyt); cherished step father of Jill Brennan and Richard Gohlinghorst; devoted Pop Pop of Peter and Joseph; dear brother of Jim Sappington, Mike Sappington, and Sandra Michaels; also survived by other loving relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 12pm – 6pm with a memorial service beginning at 6pm. Interment is private.
