On January 19, 2022 Lee "Root" Allender, Jr. passed away; devoted husband of Joan A. Greensfelder; beloved father of Danny Allender and his wife Christina, Alex Allender and his girlfriend Amanada, and Priscilla Svedberg; loving step-father of Lisa Eichelberger, Mark White, Jessica Greensfelder, and Michael Greensfelder; dear brother of Debbie Copple. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 from 3 - 5, and 7 - 9 pm.

Interment private.
