Leonard "Lenny" Francis Sachs

Leonard “Lenny” Francis Sachs passed away on January 11, 2026. He was the devoted and loving husband of Kelly M. Sachs (née Spiegelhalter) and a proud, devoted father to Jaime Thomas and her husband Jason, Jeffrey Cresser and his wife Michelle, and Casey Cresser.

Lenny was a deeply loving “Pop” to Briahna, Jaelyn, Juliahna, Jason Jr., Landon, and Levi, and a cherished “Great-Pop” to Laylani. Family was at the center of Lenny’s life, and he took great joy in every moment spent with those he loved.

He was the beloved son of the late Fred and Doris Sachs, and a dear brother to Debbie White, Margie Lohsen, Terry Sachs, and Darlene Orellana. He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Sachs Jr. Lenny is also survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, on Saturday, January 17, 2026,

from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service from 7:00-8:00 p.m. 

Interment private.
