Loretta Ann Mountjoy

Loretta Ann Mountjoy, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2025. She was born on January 9, 1952 to the late Burrus and Beatrice (nee Oliver) Mountjoy. Loretta is the cherished mother of Jennifer Guntner, Andrea Hammond, and the late Jason Holthaus; loving grandmother of Shawn and great grandmother of Abigail; dear sister of Karen Davis. Loretta is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. 

A memorial gathering will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave, Baltimore MD 21221 on Thursday September 11 from 5-7pm with a memorial service beginning at 6pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the ASPCA.
