On April 14, 2025 Michael "Mike" Arthur Smith passed away; devoted husband of the late Christine Smith (nee Rehm); beloved father of Jessica Gater and her husband Robert; loving grandfather of of Maxwell and Jackson Gater. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 4 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 from 3 - 5 pm.
