Mirna Socorro (Rodriguez-Alvarado) Sheppard

On March 23, 2021 Mirna Socorro Sheppard (nee Rodriguez-Alvarado) passed away; devoted wife of the late Timmy Lee Sheppard; beloved mother of Merilyn Morales, Vivian Morales, Kathia Morales-Waithe and her husband Shawn, Pedro Morales and his wife Trina and D'Juan Sheppard; loving daughter of Pascual Rodriguez and the late Rosa Maria Alvarado; cherished grandmother to Wilson, Omar, Giovanni, Anthony, Juan, Taviana, Elayne, Adrian, Johnathan, Jasmine, Julia, Jocelyn and Joy; cherished great-grandmother to O'Tiel, Talayah, Omarien, Omir, Avani, Ayana, Julian, Luna and Adaline; dear sister to the late Rosa Merced and her husband Ruben, Jose Orlando Merced, Maria Montañez and her husband Carlos, Cecilia Montañez and her husband Jesus, Rosa Ilia Montañez and her husband Miguel, Edgardo Montañez and his wife Ally, Alicia Montañez and her husband Gabriel, Carmen Felix and Liduvina Ortiz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mirna loved cooking, church and traveling especially road trips with her family.

A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church of Dundalk, 7321 Manchester Road, Dundalk MD 21222 on Tuesday April 6th, 2021 at 11 am. Visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday April 5th, 2021 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
