Nancy Elizabeth (Galeano) Melita

On Monday, February 5, 2024 Nancy Elizabeth Melita (nee Galeano) passed away.  She was the loving wife of Frank Melita and the devoted mother of Catina Laubach; daughter of the late Rosario and Mary (nee Boyer) Galeano; sister of Frances Cavasina (Nick), John Galeano, Keith Galeano (Angela) and the late Michael and Vincent Galeano.  Nancy is survived by her grandchildren Destiny Laubach Wright (Kenneth), Joseph Burr "Vince" (Kierstin Thomas) and Nevaeh Galeano; her great-grandchildren Makenly Wright, Kylee Burr and Rocco Wright.  Also left to cherish her memories are her god-daughter Annette Cavasina and her niece Jeanette Hussain (Nick).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10th from 9 am until 12 Noon at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue.  Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 6736 Youngstown Avenue, Baltimore.

Interment immediately following Mass at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
