Nila D. (Vaughan) Adams

On July 23, 2023 Nila D. Adams (nee Vaughan) passed away; devoted wife of the late William Adams; beloved mother of Johnny Adams, Tammy Boward and her husband Tony, and Tina Masood; loving "Mom-Mom" of Brittney, Brandon, Breanna, Kerri, Johnny Jr, Brian and Mahd; cherished "Maw-Maw" of numerous great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late O.K. Vaughan and the late Della Vaughan; dear sister of Anita Malino, Sharon Jones, Debra Gallio, Michael Vaughan, Kathy Vaughan, and O.K. Vaughan Jr. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 at 6 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 from 3 - 7 pm.

Interment at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
