Norma Lois (Nee Shearer) Engle

On May 31, 2021 Norma Lois Engle (nee Shearer) passed away; devoted wife of the late Donald F. Engle, Sr.; beloved mother of Donald F. Engle, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Karen Serra and her husband Christian; cherished grandmother of Justin Engle and his partner Steve; dear sister of Ross Shearer and Charles Shearer. Also predeceased by many other brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. 

Mrs. Norma loved the senior center and was a long time member of the Essex Moose Lodge. She also enjoyed collecting cardinal figurines.

Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
