Peter Hamilton, beloved son, brother, partner, and friend, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on September 20, 1958, he was the son of Kathleen Degel and William Hamilton, and the cherished brother of Terri Lambdin.
Peter was the devoted boyfriend of Gail O’Connor, with whom he shared a deep and meaningful love. Though they often found themselves on opposite ends of the spectrum, their bond was one of balance, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Together, they built a love rooted in acceptance and admiration.
Known for his generous spirit and compassionate heart, Peter was a giver in every sense of the word. He loved helping people, whether by lending a hand, offering kind words, or fixing the things that others couldn’t. His ability to care so deeply for others was one of his greatest gifts, and he will forever be remembered as a hero to those who knew him best.
As we reflect on his life, we are reminded of the bittersweet truth that so often, it is only after someone has passed that we see just how deeply they were loved and admired. Peter’s life was proof of this love—he touched countless hearts with his kindness, strength, and quiet heroism.
He will be missed beyond measure, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
