Regina "Gina" M. (Messina) Kotowski

Regina “Gina” (Messina) Kotowski passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 66. Gina was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 9, 1955 to Ernest and Virginia Messina. She is survived by her husband Jim Kotowski, her son Dan Kotowski (Arianna), her brother Tom Messina (Monica), her cousins Nancy Shaffer (Kent) and Nora Talbott, and her best friend Denise Warfield. Gina retired from her professional career at the Social Security Administration, having achieved many accomplishments and having made many good friends. Gina blessed her beloved family and friends with her adventurous, brave, fun-loving, funny, and generous spirit. She was bold, confident, smart, and talented. Gina loved to appreciate and create art, be with nature, care for animals, dance for hours, knit and sew beautiful creations for family and friends, listen to all kinds of music, play many musical instruments including piano and guitar, read and write, relax at the beach, sail the ocean, and laugh. She enjoyed travelling the world with Jim, Nancy, and Kent, and sharing their colorful stories with all who loved her. Gina’s family and friends miss her very much.

A visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex at 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore, MD on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Interment private.
