Ronald E. Jennings

Ronald Edward Jennings beloved husband of Janease B. Jennings(nee Brent), adored and distinguished educator with 44 years of service at Hamilton 236 Elementary/Middle School, departed peacefully and gracefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023, with his family by his side.

Ronald was a beloved father to Terrence Edward Jennings (Katherine) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Ronald Edward Jennings Jr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Ronald was a loving grandfather to Julian Edward Jennings and Simone Marie Jennings of Baltimore, Maryland, and Razi Jennings and Curtis Jennings of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Ronald is survived by brothers, Dwight Jennings (Fern) of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and James Jennings (Gloria) of Woodbridge, Virginia, a sister, Cheryl Glenn of Washington, D.C., and a cousin, Roy Scales of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Ronald leaves many family members, friends, former students, and colleagues with whom he created cherished memories throughout his glorious life.

A Memorial service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 11 am - 12 noon.
