Rose Mary (Moore) Sigrist

On February 21st, 2026, Rose Mary Sigrist (nee Moore) passed away. Born on February 3rd, 1939 to the late Edith and late William Moore, she was the loving wife of George Sigrist; devoted mother of Mary Pross, Michael Sigrist of Fayetteville, NC and his wife Linda; cherished grandmother of Daniel Sigrist and his fiance Marsha of Raleigh, NC, Christopher Sigrist of Virginia, Crystal Buck and Tiffany Buck; caring great grandmother of Jonathan Stern of DE, Kaitlyn Timmons, Lilly Cagle, and Lowell Cagle; and dear sister of Jim Moore and his wife Alice.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave. on Thursday, February 26th from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 27th at 11:30 AM, with interment following at Holly Hills Memorial Gardens.
