On July 1, 2021 Roy Thomas Shipley passed away; devoted husband of Phoebe H. Shipley (nee Trent) for over 66 years; beloved father of Thomas E. Shipley and his wife Marilyn, and Mark E. Shipley; loving grandfather of Jason Shipley and his wife Keri, William Preston and his wife Rebecca, Patricia Mitchell and her husband Andrew. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, along with other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm.
Entombment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
