Ruth Elizabeth Rutledge

Ruth Elizabeth Rutledge, age 58, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1966 to the late Richard (“Warren”) Carr, Sr. and the late Beatrice Carr. Ruth is the beloved wife of the late Mark Rutledge; devoted mother of Tiffany (Korey, Jr.) Moody, Timothy Laffoon, and Steven Gange; cherished grandmother of Demetri Frangiadakis, Dominick Frangiadakis, Kaleb Wood, Alexa Gange, Morgan Moody, Steven Gange, Jr., Isabella Whitehead, Zavion Moody, Hope Moody, Korey Moody, III, and Savanah Moody; dear sister of Vicky Carr, Paul Carr, and Richard Carr, Jr.; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her siblings Beverly Carr and Johnny Carr.

A viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave, Essex, MD 21221 on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place Wednesday at 10am followed by interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
