Ryan Rock Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan Anthony Rock, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on June 8, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 31 years old.

Born on October 29, 1993, in Baltimore, Ryan was the cherished son of Charles B. Rock and Linda M. Rock, the beloved son-in-law of Jeffery E. and Lisa M. Kahler, and Robert A. and Rebecca L. Bradford and the devoted husband of Sarah A. Rock. He was the loving father of a beautiful baby girl, now held in heaven.

Ryan is also survived by his brother, Charles B. Rock, his sister-in law, Corrine A. Kahler, two nephews, Landon J. Miller and Hudson D. Miller, and a niece, Evelyn B. Miller, who adored him, many cousins, a large extended family of aunts and uncles, and countless friends who loved him deeply. He was the grandson of his late grandparents, whose memory he carried with him always.

Ryan was known for his kind heart and a smile that could light up any room. He had a generous spirit, a gentle soul, and a quiet strength that left an impression on everyone he met. He was a skilled and passionate woodworker—he could create beauty with his hands and took pride in everything he built. He approached life with determination and a strong work ethic, always seeking to help others and put his talents to good use.

We will remember Ryan for the light he brought into our lives. We will hold onto the joy he gave, the love he shared, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.

To honor Ryan’s memory--and in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention, donations can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

In accordance with Ryan’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date to honor and remember him.
