Thelma Virginia Drayer

On March 8, 2020 Thelma Virginia Drayer passed away in White Marsh, MD at the age of 92. She was born to Lida and Wilbur H. Grover on March 7, 1928 in Fork, MD. She is survived by her three daughters: Colleen Ann Lutz of Willards, MD, Deborah Mary Drayer of Rockingham, Virginia and Diane Kay and Marvin Ronald Fletcher of White Marsh, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carroll William Drayer of White Marsh, MD. Thelma was an organist at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Middle River, MD between 1950 and 1970 after which she served as organist at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bowley's Quarters, MD until 1998. For over 30 years she taught piano lessons in White Marsh, MD. She was a member of St. Matthew's Prayer Blanket and Quilting Ministries, which served nursing homes and disaster relief efforts. 

A private service of Christian burial will be held for the immediate family.
