Timothy Allen Long

Timothy Allen Long, age 64, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024. He was born on October 28, 1959 to Kathy Peyton (nee Gunter) and her husband Wayne and the late Franklin Long. Tim is the beloved husband of 32 years to Chastity Long (nee Sullivan); cherished father of Jason Sullivan, Anthony Tucker, Megan Kern and her husband Paul, Savannah Long, Ava Long, and three surrogate children Kevin Pinolini, John Bosco, and Joseph Murray; devoted grandfather of Luna Dora Long-Kern, Veronica Kern, and Avery Kern; dear brother of Rick Long, Renee Peyton, and Wayne Peyton, Jr.; also survived by his beloved dogs Chance and Fate as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

Tim loved to be outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies included bowling, scuba diving, traveling, but above everything else he loved spending time with Luna and his children. Family was truly the light of Tim’s life. He was the kind of guy that would stop and help anyone who may need it. His friends that knew him best and loved him most called him Turtle. He will be sorely missed by all.

A viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave, Baltimore MD 21221 on Sunday from 11am – 1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm.
