Valerie Mae (Cramer) Grindrod

Valerie Mae (Cramer) Grindrod, 77, of Essex, MD passed away in Columbia, MD on Sunday, March 7th, 2021.

Born May 30th, 1943 in Baltimore, she was daughter of the late Emory and Dorothy Cramer.

Valerie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bel Air. She was an elementary school teacher and master gardener who loved cooking, baking and crafts of all kinds. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and a warm and kind person to all who knew her.

Survivors include her son, Scott Grindrod, daughter-in-law, Jun Lee, brother Ron Cramer, cousin Nancy and husband Brian Kuebler, cousin Mark Rosen, cousin Karen Lepore and an Aunt Beverly Melzer; dear friend Jane Hughes and nephew Jeff and Amber McCramer, and niece Wendy and Shane Lankford.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid-19 restrictions.
