Wanda Magness

Wanda Magness, 65, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Born on August 31, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland. Wanda was the daughter of the late Charlotte Elliott and Robert Edgar Elliott.

She enjoyed spending her free time collecting sea glass on the beach, watching Below Deck, taking beach drives with her husband, and having phone calls with her daughter and grandchildren. Wanda was known for her strength, kindness and willingness to help others. She was proud to call herself Mom, Wife, and Nana.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Ray Magness; daughter, Melissa Manuel; grandchildren, Hailie Bruno, Tyler Manuel, Nathan Manuel, and Evan Manuel; and sisters, Connie Groncki and Debbie Bozarth. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Elliott.

She now rests where the tides are gentle, the breeze is warm, and the horizon stretches on forever.

A memorial service will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, on Friday, May 8, 2026, 6-8 p.m.
