William F. Phelps

On April 18th, 2025, William F. Phelps passed away. Born on November 4th, 1937 to the late Mary Phelps (nee Abraham) and late William E. Phelps, he was the loving husband of Miriam Phelps; devoted father of son, William E. Phelps and his wife, Monica, and daughter, Kimberly Effland; cherished grandfather of Kenneth Shipley, William C. Phelps, Christopher Phelps; caring great grandfather of James Magliano; dear brother of Mary Jean Walters and Mary Michelle Dennis.

A public visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., Essex, MD 21221 on Thursday, April 24th from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 25th at 12 PM, with interment following at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
