William H. Selin

SELIN, William H., 85, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on November 29, 2025. He was a much-loved and devoted husband to Shirley A. Selin (née Krouse) for 52 years, and devoted father to Amanda J. Selin and father-in-law to Eric J. Daza of Menlo Park, CA. He is also survived by his beloved sister Beverly Cepl and her husband Carl of Baltimore, MD; dear brothers Kenneth Selin and his wife Barbara of Alvaton, KY, and Douglas Selin and his wife Vickie of Southport, NC; sisters-in-law Victoria M. Krouse of Baltimore, MD, and Mary Jo Morrison and her husband Gary of Lakeland, GA; nieces Rhonda Selin of San Jose, CA, Jennifer Selin of Phoenix, AZ, Katelyn Irizarry and her husband Kyle of Johns Island, SC, and Heather Diegert and her husband Montez of Nokomis, FL; and grand-nephews Bennett Irizarry and Steven Sciplin, and grand-nieces Julianna, Jahnessa, and Jayla Diegert. William is predeceased by his mother and father, Margaret and Henry Selin. He served in the Army for 3 years. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 2000, after 35 years. William was an avid fan of golf, horse racing, the casino, and the Baltimore Orioles. Family and Friends may call at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex (connellyfuneralhome.com), 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21221 on December 5, 2025, Friday, from 2pm to 4pm, and from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex on December 6, 2025, Saturday, at 11am followed by an interment at Gardens of Faith. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bard College at bardian.bard.edu/register/bcf.
