William "Bill" B. Dauses

On May 22, 2026 William "Bill" B. Dauses passed away; devoted husband of Regina "Jean" Dauses (nee Widitz); beloved father of Debbie Trentzsch and her husband Fred, Bill Dauses and his wife Sheree, Tom Dauses and his wife Barbara, Cathy Zito and her husband Mike, and Bob Dauses and his wife Tracy. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, along with other loving relatives and friends.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He shared 70 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jean, building a life grounded in love, faith, hard work, and family.

A proud master electrician and longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, he was respected for his skill, integrity, and dedication to his trade. Beyond his work, he was a talented artist and gifted woodworker who found joy in creating with his hands and sharing that craftsmanship with others.

A man of deep faith, he lived with quiet humility, kindness, and gratitude. He also found great peace and happiness on the water, especially while fishing, one of his lifelong passions.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, creativity, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10003 Bird River Rd., Middle River, MD 21220 on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 from 2 - 4, 6 - 8 pm.
