On April 1, 2017 Paul L. Hammer beloved husband of Frankie A. Hammer (nee Austin) devoted father of Jeanne Carolyn Bolling and her husband Paul, Sandra Wagner and her husband Philip and Debbie Kight and her husband Bill; dear brother of Ruth Hagler; brother-in-law of Ruth Markland; loving grandfather of Daniel and Eric Wagner and Joshua and Sarah Kight; great grandfather of Ryan, Dylan, Ever and Izaiah Wagner.

A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, 7321 Manchester Road on Wednesday at 11 am. Visiting hours at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Addition visiting at Church on Wednesday 10-11 am. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
