    On July 18, 2026 Gary "Mr. Mike" Wayne Lessner Sr. passed away. Born in 1938 and raised until his teen years in Hampden in Baltimore, Gary was in the 1956 graduating class of Baltimore City College High School. After graduating, joined the Navy, and served on Destroyer Escort 696, USS English, during which time he met Mary Ann Schottroffe who he married in 1959, having 67 wedding anniversaries with Mary before his passing.
