My condolences to John's family and friends. He was a hell of a nice guy. He provided years of care for his aging mother and lived only a short time after her passing. You are missed by many John. Sorry that you are gone.

So sorry to hear of a passing of a very longtime friend, Johnny Johnson. I have known him almost all of my life starting from elementary school to present. A very sincere and dear friend always concerned about others. At our Class of '66 reunion last September, John looked great and was a very popular guy. He came from a great family. His Dad, Paul, his Mom Peggy and brother, Buster were all very nice and gracious people. He will now join them in Heaven and they will all be together forever. We'll all miss you John.

I'm stunned and deeply saddened. I've known John since I was five years old. He and I were best of friends throughout elementary, junior high, high school, and community college...playing with and against each other on numerous sports teams. We called each other on birthdays, and I got a card from John every Christmas. That's the kind of guy he was...always so thoughtful, considerate and humble. The world is sadder now for me. But...there's quite a reunion in heaven for Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Buster and John...who Mr. Johnson affectionately called "Lightning". Rest in Peace, John...I'm gonna miss you!

I am so sorry to hear about Johns passing. We talked at our 50th class reunion in September and he seemed very high in spirits.. as he always was. I played against him in our little league days and he was quite a good ball player...always on the All Star team. We lost a great man. John...may you rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of one our KHS Classmates of the Class of 1966. John was a good friend, enjoyed getting together with our class for Birthday Parties and Class Reunions. Although John was one of our quite and humble friends we all looked for him at our gatherings and he will be sorely missed when we meet again. Rest in peace dear friend, we will see you down the road but not yet.

Heaven gained a great man. I say Johnny was promoted to his eternal home . God knew he was a great person and said come with me. So Johnny took his hand and left this world for a much better place. He is with his parents and Buster now. This family is alive and well in Heaven rejoicing. God bless the remaining family members. We love you and you are in our prayers. Debbie R. Silcox
